About Me
For as long as I can remember, I have wanted to be a journalist—and have been working towards a career in the field for just as long. In 2015, I was hired as a reporter for The Mash, the teen edition of the Chicago Tribune. After high school, I immediately immersed myself in the journalistic scene at DePaul by becoming a contributing writer for The DePaulia. I worked my way up to positions on The DePaulia's editorial team, where I served as Focus Editor, Nation & World Editor and News Editor.
I was hired as a writer for Becker's Healthcare in September 2021, where I covered the oncology, cardiology, supply chain and post acute beats for the publication, as well as supporting the clinical line. I went on to work at Chemical Watch, covering chemical regulation for the Americas.
I'm now a breaking news reporter at Forbes, where I've honed in on my news judgement to write multiple breaking news stories a day, with a frequent focus on national politics, legal matters and other trending stories.
